Just before 10 p.m., police received reports of shots fired near the intersection of North Stratford Road and Kind Road Northeast, just north of state Route 17. Witnesses said unknown suspects in two silver cars were yelling back and forth as they drove north on Stratford at SR 17. One suspect, dressed in all red, was reportedly hanging out the window of a silver Pontiac GT, according to police reports.

The vehicles continued north when witnesses reported hearing about 10 shots fired from one of the vehicles. Nobody was reported injured in the incident.

Several people were contacted and denied to cooperate in the investigation, according to Capt. Dave Sands. Suspects in the other vehicle have not been identified but are believed to be all male suspects. The two parties involved are believed to be rival gang members.

The other suspects fled in a silver passenger car. Witnesses were unable to provide a specific description of the vehicle.

The vehicle was seized by officers pending a search warrant, according to police reports.
