Ceann Raymond Larsen

Ceann Raymond Larsen, 72, died Tuesday, June 10, 2014 in Summer Wood Alzheimer's Special Care Center, in Moses Lake, Washington, with her beloved family by her side. Ceann was born September 2, 1941 in Pocatello, Idaho, to the parents of Cedric Odell Raymond and Gwen Johnson. Ceann is the oldest of three girls. She grew up in small towns in Idaho, and was Valedictorian of her High School graduation class of 1959. She then went on to Idaho State University and graduated with a degree in Elementary Education. She also served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the New York area for 18 months. She taught school for a few years before she married the love of her life Gerald Larson on May 26, 1967 in Idaho Falls, Idaho. They lived in many rural communities in Idaho, Utah and Washington while making Moses Lake home for nearly 30 years.

Along with raising their seven children, Ceann enjoyed cooking, gardening, reading, sewing and crafts. Ceann plays the piano, the alto saxophone and had a beautiful singing voice. She enjoyed the opportunity to sing in the community and in her church. Her favorite music was religious. Ceann enjoyed basketball and she enjoyed visiting with family and friends.

Ceann is preceded in death by her parents, Cedric Raymond, and Gwen Johnson.

She is survived by her beloved husband Gerald Larsen, Children Annika (Bruce) Dyer, Kristen (Warren) Jones, Nathan Larsen, KimMarie Larsen, James (Kailey) Larsen, Marta (Joel) Dulude, Varon (Mandy) Larsen. 17 Grandchildren, 1 Great Grandchild. Sisters, Anita (Arlon) Bennett, and Carla Richardson.

Viewing will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2014, 6-8 pm, and Thursday, June 19, 2014, at 10 am to 10:45 am, with Funeral Services starting at 11 am. Bishop Van Slyke will be conducting Services in the Grape Drive Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 925 N. Grape Dr., Moses Lake, Wash. Graveside and Burial will be Saturday, June 21, 2014 at 10 am, in Norton Cemetery, McCammon, Idaho.
