RITZVILLE - A Montana woman is in critical condition after a crash Sunday when a blown tire caused her to lose control of her vehicle on Interstate 90 about six miles west of Ritzville.

About 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Lacey M. Anderson, 22, of Libby, Mont., was driving her Toyota pickup truck west on I-90 when her pickup's left rear tire erupted, causing her to lose control. The vehicle then left the road to the right, rolled over and came to rest upright on the on ramp, according to the State Patrol.

Anderson was initially transported to East Adams Rural Hospital then was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. She was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. She is currently listed in critical but stable condition in the intensive care unit at Harborview.

Anderson was not cited in the crash, according to the State Patrol.
