Request for Qualifications – AirPort Consulting Services
The Warden Port District 8 of Grant County is requesting interested firms to submit their qualifications for on-call airport consulting services for the Warden Airport.

The Warden Port District 8 of Grant County is requesting interested firms to submit their qualifications for on-call airport consulting services for the Warden Airport. The Warden Port District 8 of Grant County will retain the services of an engineering consultant for a period of five (5) years to provide professional engineering, surveying, testing, grant preparation and administration assistance, planning, and construction inspection for, but not limited to the following projects (or project components):
1. Runway, taxiway, and apron construction, rehabilitation and maintenance.
2. Access and service road construction.
3. Airport planning and environmental studies.
4. Security fencing and access controls.
5. Lighting, signing, and navaids.
6. Update Airport Layout Plan.
7. Other miscellaneous airport improvements.
The scale, duration and number of projects are uncertain and may vary significantly during any given year.
QUALIFICATIONS
Please submit one (1) printed copy of qualifications by April 11, 2014. Submittals should be marked “Airport Consulting Services” and be addressed to:

Submittals will be evaluated by the below-listed criteria. They should be organized and identified in the same order if possible.
1. Company’s history and capability to perform all or most aspects of potential airport projects.
2. Demonstrated understanding of this airport.
3. Recent experience in capital projects comparable to the potential airport projects at this airport.
4. Key personnel’s professional background and qualifications, including the project team for possible projects. Include only those people which will be assigned to the projects at this airport.
5. Knowledge of Airport Standards and Policies.
SELECTION
The selection of the firm to do the work will be done by Port Commissioners. After the deadline for receipt of qualifications, the Commissioners will review the qualifications. If deemed necessary by the Commissioners, firms may be invited for interviews. The final selection of the firm with which to negotiate a contract will be done by the Commissioners.
The Warden Port District 8 of Grant County reserves the right, during the 5 year contract period, to occasionally work with other airport consultant firms for projects requiring expertise that may be outside the selected firm’s area of expertise.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
No cost or fee schedules shall be submitted. Fees for services will be presented during contract negotiations after the selections of the most qualified consultant.
