Foul play not suspected in baby boy's death at Potholes

OTHELLO - A Grant County spokesman said Monday the death of a 3-month-old boy at Potholes State Park is not believed to be criminal in nature or associated with foul play.
A family camping at the park woke up Saturday morning to find their 3-month old was not breathing and did not have a pulse, according to Kyle Foreman, a Grant County Sheriff's Office spokesman.
Emergency services and deputies were dispatched, but the child was pronounced dead at the scene.
The boy's name and his family's name were not released Monday because the autopsy was not completed.
"No foul play or criminal acts are suspected in the child's death, but the investigation is still ongoing," Foreman said.
