Third suspect arrested in string of Quincy burglaries

QUINCY - A third suspect in a string of burglaries in Quincy was arrested Friday as police ask residents to be on the lookout for suspicious activity.

Reynaldo Garcia, 20, of Quincy, was booked into Grant County Jail Friday for his alleged involvement in the use of a stolen credit card. He is charged with second-degree possession of stolen property and attempted third-degree theft, according to police reports.

Marco A. Gueta Virgen, 27, and Blanca L. Espinoza, 22, were both arrested last week in connection to the burglaries. Gueta Virgen allegedly used a stolen credit card at several businesses in Quincy, Wenatchee and Ephrata. The card was reportedly stolen in a residential burglary in February. Gueta Virgen, who was charged with second-degree possession of stolen property, was also found in possession of stolen jewelry from another residential burglary April 18, according to police reports.

Gueta Virgen is also facing charges of second-degree burglary, first-degree malicious mischief and possession of burglary tools in a March 29 break-in at Plaza Laundry in Quincy.

Espinoza was booked into Grant County Jail on suspicion of second-degree possession of stolen property, forgery, third-degree theft and third-degree assault, according to police reports. She was allegedly found in possession of a stolen laptop and was attempting to activate a stolen credit card.

Quincy police received information that more suspects are involved in recent burglaries and trafficking in stolen property. The department is asking residents to be on the lookout for suspicious people or vehicles.
