Omar Mullan powers Wild into division finals

WENATCHEE - It took the full five games and even a couple overtimes, but the Wenatchee Wild are moving on.
Omar Mullan scored the series-goal in the overtime of game five to help the Wild eliminate the pesky Minnesota Wilderness, 1-0, after dropping game four at home, 4-2.
"That's an exciting one," head coach Bliss Littler said. "Awful proud of the effort of all our boys. Winning game five and winning it in overtime is awful special, the kids will remember that their whole life."
Goaltender Chase Perry was a stone wall, finishing with 48 saves on the night.
"We told Chase Perry last night he was going to have to outplay their goaltender and you know what? Those two kids put on a show. That's as good of goaltending I've seen in a long time in junior hockey."
Minnesota forced the deciding game five after taking a 3-1 lead in the second period of game four before skating toward a 4-2 win.
Matthew Nuttle and Jakob Ahlgren scored for Wenatchee.
The Wild will now face the Fairbanks Ice Dogs in the Midwest Division finals, with the series starting next weekend in Fairbanks.
