Nels Mikkelson

Nels Mikkelson, 89, passed Sunday, March 30, 2014. He served in the US Navy during World War II. He retired from Boeing after 25 years as a Machinist. He has lived in Moses Lake 17 years. Services will be held Saturday, April 5 at 11 AM at First Baptist Church of Moses Lake, 724 W 4th St., Moses Lake 98837. Donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Moses Lake in Nels Mikkelson's name.

He is survived by his wife, Cleo, daughters Sheila Beeman, Lori DeJarnatt; sons Jim and Dave Mikkelson, step-daughters Kristen McKellar, Joan Whittington, and Karen Wheeler, step-sons Garth and Kyran Lien, 21 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Ada and Nels Mikkelson and brother Walter.
