CBSS hires boys basketball coach

MOSES LAKE - Bob McCaffery has been hired as the new head coach for the Phoenix boys basketball team. McCaffery is replacing Rolland Hansen who took over as the coach of the girls basketball team at Omak High School.

McCaffery has been an assistant coach for the team, and has built quality relationships in the program. 

He brings 17 years of experience to the position. McCaffery has also been a teacher in the Moss Lake School District for 30 years and is currently teaching English at Moses Lake High School.

He is a former head basketball and baseball coach at Orcas Island, and has held many assistant coaching positions for the Chiefs.
