Dead woman found in Grand Coulee
GRAND COULEE - A deceased adult female was found along Weil Street in Grand Coulee.
Around 4 p.m. Sunday a resident found the dead body of an adult female in a vacant lot, according to Grand Coulee police.
It appears the body was outside for some time as it was partially covered in snow, police stated.
The are no obvious signs of foul play, but the formal cause of death will be determined through an autopsy performed by the Grant County Coroner, who has custody of the body.
Coroner Chief Investigator Jerry Jasman said Monday the woman's identity will be released once confirmed and next of kin have been notified, possibly by Wednesday.
