Warden School District receives clean audit

WARDEN- State auditors found no problems in the Warden School District's audit.

The Washington State Auditor's Office conducts audits on governmental entities, examining financial reports, accountability and compliance with state laws, according to the report. The auditors examined the district's records from September 2008 to August 2010.

Auditors evaluated the district's financial condition, payroll, general disbursement, the associated student body and reporting on enrollment and staff. In the financial areas, the auditor's examined cash and investments, revenues, expenditures, the district's financial condition, the overall presentation of the district's financial statements and how they were prepared.
