A typical morning in the Columbia Basin often starts with what would have been (just a few years ago) a clear blue sky but now is filled with a synthetic haze that never goes away. As I look today to the north there are jets flying in parallel emitting aerosol particulates and chemicals into the upper atmosphere which are spreading out and will linger until they eventually sink down to our level.
