D'Anna Marie Thompson Evans

D’Anna passed away November 19, 2009 surrounded by loved ones as she went to be with our Father in Heaven.

D’Anna was born March 28, 1966 to Harold and Nancy Thompson in Moscow, ID.  In 1970 the family moved from Moscow to Moses Lake, WA, where D’Anna attended school and graduated from Moses Lake High in 1984. She later met and fell in love with Scot Evans of Bellevue, WA and they were married in April 1990.

D’Anna loved her family and friends and her beautiful garden.  She was a faithful servant who put the needs of others before her own and had a real gift for bringing people together.

Her friends were amazed by her common sense approach and creative solutions.  D’Anna was a true inspiration to all during the last year as she continued to demonstrate courage and faith despite her fight against cancer and the many treatments. 

D’Anna is survived by her husband of 19 years, Scot and two beautiful children Carmon and Blake; her parents Harold and Nancy Thompson; sisters Vonda and husband Kevin Hunt, Connie and husband Dan Ramon; her paternal grandmothers Lillian R. Thompson and Elsie M. Merrill with numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews.

D’Anna was preceded in death by her grandfathers Harold A. Thompson, Gardner R. Merrill and an infant son Thomas.

Our beloved daughter, sister and mother will be deeply missed though D’Anna will be in our memories and our hearts for eternity.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 28, 2009, 3:00 PM at the Bellevue Presbyterian Church, 1717 Bellevue Way NE, Bellevue, WA.  A celebration of Life will be held December 6, 2009, 3:00-6:00 PM at the Palouse Community Center in Princeton.

In lieu of memorials or flowers we ask that each of you draw your families and friends close around you in remembrance of D’Anna.
