& Adoption of Existing Environmental Document

Notice is hereby given that a Unified Development Code Amendment application and SEPA were received on January 9, 2006 from Maiers Enterprises, LLC, P.O. Box 850, Moses Lake, WA (Designated Contact: Philip J. Bloom, Columbia Northwest Engineering, 321 Beech St. Suite A, Moses Lake, WA (509) 766-1226) and were found to be technically complete on February 2, 2006. PROJECT: An amendment to the Unified Development Code Chapter 230.04.800 Planned Unit Development by adding language to section (d) regarding time limits for development. SEPA: Adoption of Existing Environmental Documentation issued February 23, 2006. ADDITIONAL PERMITS: None. STUDIES REQUIRED: None. LOCATION: County Wide. ZONING: Planned Unit Developments are permitted in the following zones: Urban Residential 1 (UR1), Urban Residential 2 (UR2), Rural Residential 1 (RR1), Rural Residential 2 (RR2), Rural Residential 3 (RR3), Rural Village Residential (RVR), Rural Community (RC), Recreational Development (RD), Shoreline Development 1 (SD1), Shoreline Development 2 (SD2), Shoreline Development 3 (SD3), Shoreline Development 4 (SD4), Rural Recreational Commercial (RRC), Master Planned Resort (MPR) and Master Planned Industrial (MPI) Required mitigation will be pursuant to the Unified Development Code. OPEN RECORD PUBLIC HEARING: The Grant County Planning Commission, 7:00 pm, April 5, 2006 in the Commissioners Hearing Room, at the Grant County Courthouse in Ephrata, WA. At this time any person(s) may appear and provide testimony. Copies of the application materials (File #04-3869) and the adopted environmental documentation are available from Dorothy Black, Associate Planner at the Grant County Planning Department at 32 C St. NW, Room 26a, P.O. Box 37, Ephrata WA 98823, (509) 754-2011 extension 625; office hours are 8am - 12pm and 1pm - 5pm, Monday - Friday. Comments must be submitted no later than 5pm March 20, 2006 to the Planning Department. All comments should be as specific as possible and may be mailed, hand delivered or sent by facsimile. Any person has the right to comment, receive notice, participate in any hearings, request a copy of the final decision, and appeal the decision as provided by law and County Code. This may be the only opportunity to comment on the above listed materials.
