NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR VOLUNTARY EMISSION LIMITS ON AN AIR POLLUTION SOURCE

The State of Washington Department of Ecology (Ecology) has received a Notice of Construction (NOC) application from J.R. Simplot to consolidate Ecology Orders and incorporate voluntary emission limits for their facility located at 14124 Wheeler Road, N.E. northwest of Wheeler in Grant County. The legal description for the location is the SW 1/4 of Section 22 of Township 19N, Range 29E of the Willamette Meridian. After review of the completed application and other information on file with the agency, Ecology has made a preliminary determination that this proposal will conform to all requirements for the air pollutant emissions as specified in Chapter 173-400 WAC. Copies of the Preliminary Determination and other pertinent information are available for public review at Ecology, 4601 N. Monroe, Spokane, WA 99205-1295, and at the City of Moses Lake, Community Development Department, 321 South Balsam Avenue, P.O. Box 1579, Moses Lake, WA 98837. The public is invited to comment on the project by submitting written comments within 30 days of this notice to Robert Koster at the above Spokane address. A public hearing may be held if significant public interest is determined to exist.
