Vickey Melcher will represent our children and community well

Print Article

We are endorsing the candidacy of Vickey Melcher for the position of School Board Position No. 2.

We first met Vickey at a Big Bend College Foundation (BBCF) Auction where we first saw her strong commitment to supporting a studentís ability to obtain a college education. We have since known Vickey to be a hard-working and caring colleague as a resource teacher at the high school working with special needs students, as a Board member of the BBCF, as a volunteer for and supporter of the Boys and Girls Club and Columbia Basin Cancer Foundation. Over time, we have seen how she imparts her strong sense of family and community to her children and grandchildren. She is always concerned for the welfare of others and demonstrates that with her words, donations and actions. She is for fair and equitable treatment of all in our schools. She will represent our children and community with dignity and zeal. Again, we are supporting Vickey Melcher for the School Board Position No. 2.
