Vickey Melcher best for school board

Print Article

Vickey Melcher has the best education background for the school board position No. 2.

Vickey wants all children to have a good education and an opportunity for higher education of their choice, either college or trade school.

She taught school for 16 years and has kept the books for their farming enterprise and also for their in-town retail business.

Her main concern is for the students of Moses Lake and for wise choices for spending the allocated funds for schools. She does not make decisions without processing the available information.

I have known Vickey for a number of years. We met at the Big Bend Community College scholarship function of which she serves on the committee. She has been involved with the Chamber of Commerce and participates in the success of downtown business. She believes a successful community has dollars to support the school programs. Her goal is a unified community for the good of the students.
