PULLMAN — Golf in 35 degrees with some light snow?

Sure.

Jayce Moore shot a team-low 80 and Ephrata posted a score of 341 to finish eighth at the Palouse Ridge Invite.

Othello finished middle of the pack with 355, led by Patrick Azevedo’s 77.

Gonzaga Prep had two golfers shoot in the 70s to comfortably win the tournament with 309 to second-place Lewiston’s 320.

“They may be the best team in Washington at any level,” Pullman coach Craig McCormick said.

Tom Baycroft of Cheney and Jack Plaster of Gonzaga Prep both fired a 72.

Ephrata scores: Jayce Moore 80, Jacob Rawley 82, Ty Smith 85, Buster Davidson 94, Max Boruff 108

Othello scores: Patrick Azevedo 77, Isaiah Garza 86, Jonathan Ozuna 95, Nathan Ozuna 97, Julien McDonald 126

Odessa 10, Lind-Ritzville/Sprague 0

ODESSA — Lind-Ritzville/Sprague managed just two hits in a five-inning loss to Odessa 10-0.

Odessa scored twice in the fifth inning to end the game.
