OTHELLO — Deputies in Adams County have made several arrests in connection with a weekend shooting near Othello that left a man injured.

The Adams County Sheriff’s Office says Juan Omar Gonzalez, 55, was taken into custody on Tuesday in connection with a weekend shooting on South Saddle Road, west of Othello, that left a 22-year-old man with a gunshot wound. Gonzalez was arrested on charges of second-degree assault and felony harassment.

The victim was treated for a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. Few details have been released about the events that lead up to the shooting or a possible motive.
