Spring Fair/Home Show starts today By Chaz HolmesHerald staff writer Event runs through Sunday MOSES LAKE - The 2008 Spring Fair/Home Show starts today, kicking off a weekend of home improvement seminars, carnival rides, music and more. Grant County Fairgrounds Manager Bill West said The Home Depot seminar includes a kid craft activity where kids get to work on a project. He said it's a chance to get kids interested in building and teach them skills they can use later in life. Other seminars are conducted by Lowe's. Other attractions over the weekend include a junior livestock sale, a 4-H tack swap and a dog agility show held in the south field. Saturday at 8 a.m. the Moses Lake Junior Rodeo Rough Stock School is in the rodeo arena and a truck sled pull is Saturday at 5:30 p.m. in the rodeo arena. An array of vendors is featured at the fairgrounds representing businesses from real estate to candy.
