Notice of Application and Public Hearing Date of Notice: December 6, 2017 Notice is hereby given that a request for a Variance received by Grant County on November 15, 2017 from Trammel & Kim Smith, was found to be technically complete on November 29, 2017. PROJECT: A Variance to the 20-ft. front setback requirement for construction of a residence with a 10-ft. setback from the front property line. The site is located approximately 8 miles west of George, WA and is in the NE quarter of Section 12, Township 18 North, Range 22 East, WM, Grant County, WA (Parcel #05-0618-000). NOTICE OF ISSUANCE OF MITIGATED DETERMINATION OF NON-SIGNIFICANCE Grant County has issued a Mitigated Determination of Non-Significance (MDNS) under the State Environmental Policy Act Rules (WAC Chapter 197-11) for the following project: A Planned Unit Development and Binding Site Plan creating 22 lots in the Master Plan Resort Zone. This PUD would implement the various improvements contemplated as part of the MPR approval (2014). The project site is the Gorge Amphitheater, located at the intersection of Rd. 1 NW and Silica Rd. NW, in portions of Sections 29, 30, and 31 Township 19 North, Range 23 East, W.M., Grant County, WA. After a review of a completed Environmental Checklist and other information on file with the Planning Department, Grant County has determined that this proposal does not have a probable significant adverse impact on the environment as conditioned.
