ORDINANCE 2883 AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF MOSES LAKE, WASHINGTON FOR THE YEAR OF 2018 AND MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FOR ESTIMATED EXPENDITURES (This summary is published pursuant to RCW 35A.12.160. Tourism Commission in the amount of $13,000.00 from Tourism beginning fund balance (114.156) for Professional Services and Communication expenses not budgeted for. Planning Department in the amount of $5,980.00 from the current expense fund to purchase SG SMARTConnect Merchant software and associated training from Paladin Data and Point and Pay. New Hope in the amount of $142,349.50 due to an increase in revenues from VOCA increases to current grants, new funding sources and successful fulfillment of new grant applications. News Release Recount of ballots cast for Moses Lake School District #161, Director, District #4 in the November 7, 2017 General Election The Grant County Canvassing Board, pursuant to RCW 29A.64.041, will convene a public meeting beginning at 9:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 12, 2017, in the Grant County Election's office, Room 203, 35 C St. NW, Ephrata, to conduct a machine recount of the votes cast for the office of Moses Lake School District #161, Director, District #4 in the General election held on Tuesday, November 7, 2017. The meeting will continue until the recount is complete. The Canvassing Board will certify the recount once complete. REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL PROJECT SPECIFICATIONS The Grant County Port District #10 (Port of Moses Lake) owns and operates an industrial wastewater facility, State Waste Discharge Permit # ST0008063, good operating practices require certain system monitoring and reporting take place on a regular basis. Monitoring includes groundwater quality, soil quality, crop nutrient removal, wastewater quantity and quality, irrigation water management and irrigation rates. Monitoring data, generated by the system users, need review for compliance with the user ordinance. System operations data need to be regularly evaluated to identify and correct problems as they occur and maintain good system management. In order to assist the Port in managing its land application system, sampling and analysis, data review and reporting services are needed. These services will help the Port operate the system properly and in compliance with the system permit. This is a 3-year contract for the period from January 1, 2018 to December 31, 2020 to coincide with the Port's State Waste Discharge Permit reporting cycle, with an option of a two-year extension.
