SDA church to host fun run and walkathon

MOSES LAKE — The Moses Lake Seventh-day Adventist Church will hold its Fun Run/Walkathon on Sunday, June 4 at Crestview Christian School, 1601 W. Valley Rd. in Moses Lake. Check-in begins at 8 a.m. and the event itself will begin at 9 a.m. Proceeds benefit the church building fund.

Participants collect pledges from friends, family and community members, so much money for every mile walked or run. A prize of a $50 gift certificate to either Michael’s, Walmart or Dairy Queen will be awarded to the individual who raises the most funds, and for every $100 a participant raises he or she will receive a gift certificate to Blue Palm.
