Time to unite

Print Article

This is a true moment: the American people all over the world speaking up at town halls and in the streets for immigrants’ rights, Obama Health Care and no Muslim ban. Our world is made up of different ethnic groups, religions and cultures. It’s time to be united and move forward, not backwards into time.

In many states we house other immigrants, refugees, and give them houses and cars, but why are there so many homeless people and veterans in the streets? Our government has the funding for projects to house homeless families.

Now we want to stop funding for states that are willing to protect Mexican immigrants and their families. Through no fault of their own, many have crossed over for a better life for their families and they’re being punished because they want better for their children. Guess most American people don’t know how it feels to be hungry or work for low wages. And here you state they take your jobs. If it weren’t for immigrants working your fields from sunrise to sundown where would your crops be at?

In health care, who will be the judge of who will live and who will die? How is this any different from what Hitler did with Jews?

Time to be united no matter what race. Time for peace. If not, this will be the end of Mankind.
