City of Moses Lake Notice of Application and  Optional DNS City of Moses Lake received a SEPA (State Environment Policy Act) checklist is for this parcel. The location is 422 N Crestview Dr., for the installation of an 8’x24’ cantilever type dock, a 9’x10’ boat lift with a 4’x10’gangway. This Parcel #091283000 is .74 acres. The application was determined to be complete and ready for review on 3/19/24. Environmental review is required for this project. The City of Moses Lake has reviewed the proposed project for probable adverse environmental impacts and expects to issue a Determination of Non-Significance (DNS) for this project. The DNS process in WAC 197-11-355 is being used. This may be your only opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed project. Written comments on this project proposal from public agencies with jurisdiction will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. on April 16, 2024. CALL FOR BIDS CITY OF SOAP LAKE 2024 STREET IMPROVEMENTS Sealed Proposals will be received by the undersigned at the City of Soap Lake, 239 Second Avenue South East, Soap Lake, Washington, 98851, up to 1:00 p.m.; local time on Thursday, May 9, 2024, for furnishing the necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, and guarantees thereof to construct 2024 Street Improvements. Schedule A: Marinas Drive and 1st Avenue North East Improvements Schedule A provides for roadway improvements for approximately 480 LF of Marinas Drive (formerly Canna Street North) from Main Avenue East to Smokiam Park, and 420 LF of 1st Avenue NE from Daisy Street (SR 17) to Marinas Drive. The work includes, but is not limited to, pulverizing the existing pavement, excavation, grading, subgrade preparation, cement treated base, hot mix asphalt, storm drainage improvements, cement concrete curb, gutters, curb ramps, sidewalks, driveway entrances, pavement markings, utility adjustments, traffic control, miscellaneous surface restoration, and all other appurtenances required to complete the work in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Special Provisions, and the Specifications.  Schedule B: Main Avenue West Reconstruction Schedule B provides for roadway improvements for approximately 1,200 LF of Main Avenue West from Cherry Street to Ginkgo Street. The work includes, but is not limited to, pulverizing the existing pavement, excavation, grading, subgrade preparation, cement treated base, hot mix asphalt, storm drainage improvements, cement concrete curb, gutters, curb ramps, sidewalks, driveway entrances, pavement markings, utility adjustments, traffic control, miscellaneous surface restoration, and all other appurtenances required to complete the work in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Special Provisions, and the Specifications.. The Work shall be substantially complete within 90 working days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed. All bidding and construction is to be performed in compliance with the Contract Provisions and Contract Plans for this project and any addenda issued thereto that are on file at the office of the City Clerk, City Hall, Soap Lake, Washington. The Proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud shortly after the time and date stated above. Proposals are to be submitted only on the form provided with the Bid Documents. All Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, postal money order, cashiers check, or Proposal bond payable to the “City of Soap Lake” and in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total Proposal amount.
